Columbia Industrial Supplies is pleased to present two seminars featuring Norm Smith of FPInnovations, Canada’s internationally renowned wood products research organization.

Norm Smith has more than 25 years of extensive experience in wood finishing and cabinet shop management. Norm has worked as a “hands-on” sprayer for 15 years in both small and large organizations. Two years ago he joined FPInnovations as their finishing specialist for Western Canada.

In these interactive sessions, Norm will cover:
• Proper sanding procedures – and why they matter.
• Stain types and their application
• How to ensure consistent finishing quality
• Common finishing problems – causes & solutions.
